Preston McSwain

Neuberger Berman
Preston McSwain founded the Private Wealth management office for Neuberger Berman in Boston in 1998. He acts as an advisor to clients coordinating an integrated wealth plan across both liquid and illiquid assets, and is responsible for fiduciary management and client service for Neuberger's high-net-worth investment management and trust clients in New England . Preston has been a frequent speaker on investment management, asset allocation and trust issues. He has made presentations and given seminars on various investment management and trust planning topics for organizations such as the CCC Alliance, Institute for Private Investors, and regional estate planning councils.
Prior to joining Neuberger, Mr. McSwain was the head of the Massachusetts trust and investment management division of a regional bank holding company. Preston has over 17 years experience in the private asset management and institutional investment management field. He earned a B.S. in Finance with a concentration in investment management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and was recently honored as the business school's top graduate under 40.
Preston is an active member in community and charitable organizations. His particular area of focus is education. He has served on the board of City on a Hill public charter school and most recently founded a new public charter school in Mattapan, Boston Preparatory Academy . Preston is currently the President of the Boston Preparatory Foundation. In addition to his educational activities, Preston has served on various boards and fundraising committees for the Wang Center for the Performing Arts, Community Servings, Aids Action Committee, USO of New England and the Children's Hospital of Boston. He also is a member of the Business Associaties Club, has served on the Executive Leadership Committee for the United Way of Massachusetts Bay and worked on membership development for the Boston Chamber of Commerce.
Preston lives with his wife Susan and son Jack in Chestnut Hill , MA . They are active in outdoor activities and enjoy sailing, running, tennis, and cycling.

Ms. Woodard is a graduate of Connecticut College where she majored in chemistry. Ms. Woodard worked at IBM for fifteen years holding leadership positions in technical marketing and business development before launching her own consulting practice to Boston area high technology firms. Her focus at Wilkins Investment Counsel is common stock research.

Andrew Weiss graduated from Williams College and received his Ph.D. in Economics ( with distinction ) from Stanford University. In 1989 he was elected a Fellow of the Econometric Society . He has held academic appointments at Columbia University , New York University , and Boston University. Dr. Weiss is Professor Emeritus in Economics at Boston University. In addition, Dr. Weiss was a Research Economist in the Mathematics Center at Bell Laboratories. He has lectured at numerous major universities in the United States and in foreign countries , and he has also served as a consultant to the World Bank and National Research Council (NSF).
Dr. Weiss 's research has covered a wide range of topics including credit markets, development economics, economics of information and behavioral economic theory. H e has published over 45 articles in leading economics journals including The American Economic Review, Journal of Political Economy, the Quarterly Journal of Economics, and Journal of Development Economics . His paper "Credit Rationing in Markets with Imperfect Information " (with Joseph Stiglitz) is the 12th most highly cited paper in economics.
Dr. Weiss is ranked in the top 4% of all published economists, and in the top 2% when ranked by number of citations to his papers . Some of his works are available at the Research Papers in Economics (RePEc) website. Dr. Weiss has been the subject of featured articles in Outstanding Investor Digest, Micropal, Forbes, The Motley Fool , and newspaper articles in the U.S. and Europe. He is a frequent guest speaker on CNBC and has appeared on Bloomberg News and local news shows.
Dr. Weiss began investing when he was an undergraduate at Williams College. Prior to 1991 he managed friends' and family accounts. He has served as portfolio manager for Brookdale Equity Partners (BEP) from 1991-1994, Brookdale International Partners (BIP) from 1994 to present, and Brookdale Global Opportunity Fund (BGO) from 2000 to present. Dr. Weiss founded Weiss Asset Management in 2002 and currently serves as President and Chief Investment Officer.

Carolyn Clark is currently a first-year student in the Harvard Business School's MBA Class of 2008. Prior to attending HBS, Carolyn was an associate at Thomas H. Lee Partners, LP, a Boston-based private equity firm with over $18 billion under management. From 2002 to 2004, Carolyn worked as an analyst in the Healthcare Group in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs. Carolyn graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Economics (Concentration in Accounting) from The Wharton School and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the College of Arts and Sciences.

Stuart M. Linde, a managing director, is director of U.S. Equity Research at Lehman Brothers, a position he has held since 2003. In this role, he is responsible for oversight of the US Equity Research department.
Prior to his current role Mr. Linde was the senior Entertainment/Cable Analyst at Lehman Brothers. He launched coverage of the Entertainment sector in March 2001 and Cable Communication Services in January 2003, after covering the Gaming and Leisure sectors for eight years.
In 2002 and 2003, Mr. Linde placed third in the Institutional Investor All America Research Team and in 2000 was a runner up in the Gaming and Lodging category. He has also been recognized four times for his performance by the Wall Street Journal "All Star Analyst" Survey.
Prior to joining Lehman Brothers in 1998, Mr. Linde was with Gerard Klauer Mattison & Co. and Fahnestock & Company for eight years. Mr. Linde earned a B.A. in economics from New York University and an M.B.A. from Rutgers University Graduate School of Management.

Prior to joining Lehman Brothers in 2000, Mr. Copeland was a Managing Director responsible for creating a national wealth management platform at Credit Suisse First Boston. He began his career at Goldman, Sachs and Co., where he was a Managing Director in Private Client Services in both New York and Boston . Mr. Copeland has taught at Tufts University as a Visiting Professor and is a Trustee and member of the Investment Committee for the Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church. He graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University with degrees in English and Economics, and received both a J.D. magna cum laude from Harvard Law School and an M.S. from MIT's Sloan School.

Meredith Adler is Lehman Brothers' equity analyst following the supermarket, drug retailing and dollar store industries. In 2006, for the fifth year in a row, Meredith was ranked as the #1 Food and Drug Retailing analyst in Institutional Investor's (II) annual poll of equity analysts, having moved up steadily in recognition in the II survey and other polls over the prior nine years. In late 2003, Meredith added the dollar store stocks to her coverage list and in early 2006 she added several foodservice distributors.
Meredith joined Lehman in mid-1996 after spending ten years as a high yield bond analyst. During those ten years, she followed companies in the retail, healthcare and consumer product sectors, with a focus on supermarkets and drug stores during the last three years. Before joining Lehman, Meredith worked at Chase Securities, CS First Boston, and L.F. Rothschild in their high yield research departments. In a series of surveys organized by Institutional Investor about fixed income research, Meredith was voted by investors as one of the top high yield analysts on four occasions in three different industries. Prior to working in high yield, Meredith was trained as a commercial lending officer at Citibank and spent eight years in the commercial banking industry.
Meredith received her B.A. in Comparative Religion from Boston University in 1977 and her M.B.A. in Finance from New York University in 1985. She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst. Meredith is married and has two sons, ages 11 and 13.

Jamie Harmon

Jamie Harmon is a vice president and portfolio manager for Fidelity Investments, the largest mutual fund company in the United States , the No. 1 provider of workplace retirement savings plans and a leading online brokerage firm. He manages Fidelity Advisor Small Cap Fund.
Mr. Harmon joined Fidelity's equity research department in 1995 following energy and health-care services stocks, as well as initial public offerings. From 1997 to 1998, he managed Fidelity Select Biotechnology Portfolio. From 1998 to 2000, Mr. Harmon served as a portfolio assistant within Fidelity's small-cap equity research team. He managed Fidelity Small Cap Retirement Fund from 2000 and Fidelity Small Cap Independence Fund from 2001until assuming his current responsibilities in October 2005. Mr. Harmon also managed Fidelity Small Cap Growth Fund and Fidelity Advisor Small Cap Growth Fund using a multi-manager approach with Lionel T. Harris and Charles L. Myers from April 2005 to October 2005.
Prior to joining Fidelity, Mr. Harmon was a junior analyst with Essex Investments, a Boston-based money management firm from 1994 to 1995.
Born in 1971, Mr. Harmon received a bachelor of arts degree in government from Harvard College in 1994.
