2011-12

 

 

1Bisera Todorovic '12, Chief Executive Officer is a junior at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business, majoring in Applied Accounting and Finance. She has declared a specialization in G.L.O.B.E, which focuses on international business, as she would like to extend her knowledge of and experience in conducting business in other countries. On campus, she is the CRO of Smart Woman Securities, and a member of Beta Alpha Psi and the Finance Society. Outside of campus, she is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts. In the Fall of 2010, she participated in SWS-J.P. Morgan National Mentorship Program and she also participated in J.P. Morgan’s IB Risk Competition. In addition, she is an analyst for the Student Managed Investment Fund at Fordham University.  Previously, she has interned at Piraeus Bank in Belgrade and AXA Advisors in Los Angeles. This summer she looks forward to doing an internship, studying abroad in India and performing community service in a Latin American country. She speaks Serbian and has an intermediate proficiency in Spanish and conversational proficiency in French. In her free time, Bisera enjoys playing golf.

 

 

1Rebecca Serene Horne '13, Chief Development Officer is a sophomore at Fordham University's Gabelli School of Business, focusing her efforts on Finance, Economics, and Global Business. As a member of the Global Business Honors Program, Rebecca has traveled to London, Paris, and Washington D.C. as a Fordham ambassador to various corporations and governmental agencies. She plans to continue her travels with a trip to Santiago, Chile, this spring, as well as a semester abroad in Barcelona, Spain, this fall. On campus, Rebecca is an active member of the Fordham Finance Society, the b-Sides a cappella group, and Students for Fair Trade. She spends her free time singing, attending operas, writing for the Ram newspaper, and pining after her sunny home state of California.

 

 

1Kathryn Raynor '13, Chief Community Service Officer is a junior in the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University majoring in Finance. On campus she is an active member of Beta Alpha Psi and the Finance Scholars Program. Kathryn is also a mentor to incoming freshmen for the Gabelli School of Business. She has spent a semester abroad in London at the Fordham University London Center taking many business courses and learning about foreign cultures. She will be interning with UBS during the spring semester and is planning on interning with GE Capital in the Risk Management program over the summer. In her free time, she enjoys reading and running outdoors when the weather is nice.

 

 

1Meghan Muha '14, Chief Operating Officer is a freshman in the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University. She is from Cedar Knolls, New Jersey.  Aside from Smart Woman Securities, her interests include skiing and running. She has also earned the Girl Scout Gold Award. She is thrilled to be involved with SWS, and looks forward to contributing new and exciting ideas.

 

 

 

 

 

1Nicole D'Souza '13, Chief Research Officer is a sophomore at Fordham University, majoring in Finance and minoring in Mathematics. In addition to Smart Woman Securities, she is a member of United Student Government as the Executive Vice President of Communications, and is currently interning at Sarah Hall Productions. 1Angela Luongo '11, Chief Executive Officer is a senior at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business, pursuing a major in Applied Accounting and Finance. On campus, Angela is a member of Alpha Sigma Nu, Beta Alpha Psi, Beta Gamma Sigma, Father Boyle Honor Society, Finance Scholars Program, Phi Kappa Phi, the Student Managed Investment Fund, and a founding member of the Fordham University chapter of Smart Woman Securities. Angela is also deeply committed to community service. She volunteers weekly at Fordham’s Tutoring Center, specializing in Accounting, Economics, and Statistics, and serves as a Peer Mentor to a group of 20 freshman students. In May 2010, Angela was accepted into Fordham University’s Honors Thesis Program.  Her working paper is titled, “Fund-Management-Gender Composition:  The Impact on Risk & Performance of Mutual Funds and Hedge Funds.”  This past summer, Angela was a Summer Analyst at JP Morgan Chase & Co. with the firm’s Investor Relations team, and has recently accepted a full-time offer with the firm. Additionally, Angela works as the Assistant Manager of a local New York restaurant. In her free time, Angela enjoys kickboxing and is an avid Yankees fan.

cJennifer Ali '11, Leader of Mentoring & Secretary is a senior at Fordham University's College of Business Administration, working toward a major in Finance and a minor in English, with a specialization in International Business. Throughout her time in college, Jennifer interned at Merrill Lynch, Donna Karan, Bloomingdales and the State Department in Washington, D.C.  This summer Jennifer will be joining Goldman Sachs’ Investment Banking Division as a Summer Analyst in the Equity Capital Markets.  She is part of the Founding Team and Executive Board of the Fordham Chapter of Smart Woman Securities and is a member of the Father Boyle Society.  Jennifer is heavily involved with a non-profit organization in her community, Bangladesh Institute of Performing Arts.  She promotes cultural arts and does fundraisers all over New York.

This summer, Angela looks forward to participating in J.P. Morgan’s Summer Financial Analyst Internship Program, as well as PwC’s Leadership Conference in New York City.  Additionally, Angela works as an assistant to the manager of a local New York restaurant. In her free time, Angela enjoys kickboxing and is an avid Yankees fan.

Lily McGettigan '11, co-Chief Executive Officer, is a senior at Fordham University's College of Business Administration, working toward a major in Finance and a minor in Business Economics. She intends to pursue a career in trading fixed income products. Lily is a co-founder of Fordham Smart Woman Securities (SWS). As part of the SWS executive board, she is the co-CEO, who manages the infrastructure and finances. Lily is also a member of the Father Boyle Honor Society and a member of the Finance Society. She volunteers at the Regional Educational Technology Center where she mentors grammar and high school students in the local Bronx community.  In the past Lily has interned with Smith Barney in the Global Wealth Management Department and ICP Capital on the asset management desk. She also works at the Fordham Financial Office as an assistant. This summer, Lily will be working at J.P. Morgan in Sales & Trading in the structured products group. In her free time, Lily enjoys biking, film, and reading.

During her freshman year, Jennifer interned at the Global Wealth Management division for Merrill Lynch. She is currently interning in the Retail Finance division at Donna Karan. This summer, Jennifer will be interning in the CFO's office at USAID's corporate headquarters in Washington, D.C. Jennifer is part of the Executive Board of the Fordham Chapter of Smart Woman Securities and is a member of the Father Boyle Society. She actively tutors in the College of Business's Tutoring Center and is a research assistant at the Graduate School of Business. Jennifer is heavily involved with a non-profit organization in her community, Bangladesh Institute of Performing Arts.  She promotes cultural arts and does fundraisers all over New York. This summer, Caroline will be joining Bloomberg Financial in its Global Data division.  At Fordham University, Caroline is involved with the Fordham Chapter of Smart Woman Securities, Business Editor of Fordham's Official Journal of Record:The Ram, The Father William Boyle Business Honors Society, The Rose Hill Society, The United Student Government Budget Committee, and The Integrated Learning Community for Global Business.  Next spring, Caroline plans to study business abroad in Beijing, China. Caroline volunteers weekly at the College of Business Administration’s Tutoring Center, and enjoys photography in her free time.

In the past, she has participated in Fordham University’s community service summer program, Urban Plunge, and has walked for causes such as Alzheimer’s Disease and Breast Cancer. In the fall, Angela looks forward to participating in the Finance Scholars Program at Fordham University and The Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City.
