Holly Toczko '12, Chief Executive Officer is junior planning to major in Economics and wants to attend business school in the future. She has worked in a varied of industries, but most recently for a investment management firm. Holly was a ski racer and competitive athlete growing up in rural New England, but now has an interest in holistic wellness and enjoys learning about nutrition and competing in fitness. She is also involved in the Muriel Siebert Personal Finance Program, an after school program providing financial literacy training to NYC youth, and has always valued ethical leadership through character development.
Genevieve Chow '13, co-Chief Research Officer is a sophomore majoring in Economics-Mathematics at Columbia University. Born and raised in Boston, she became involved with Smart Women Securities in the fall of 2010. During the school year, she works as a research assistant for an investment management firm. On campus, she currently is the event coordinator for the Chinese Students Club’s mentorship program. She enjoys traveling and exploring all that the city has to offer. In her spare time, she enjoys scrapbooking and baking.
Wenyu Yan '12, co-Chief Research Officer is a junior studying Economics and Psychology in Columbia College. After discovering she no longer wanted to become a neurosurgeon, she decided to try out economics and luckily loved it. She found her career path in research during the Goldman Sachs Global Investment Research Sophomore internship program, and joined SWS as a Senior Research Analyst to learn more about financial analysis. She also serves as the President of CU Roadrunners and Treasurer of Columbia Neuroscience Society. She has previously worked at SynaMed as a Business Analyst intern and Axiom Law as a Business Development intern, and is thrilled to be returning to GIR in Credit Research this summer. In her free time she keeps busy with running, singing, and ballet, reading about neuroeconomics, and searching for the perfect coffee shop.
Zixi (Sissi) Jin '13, Chief Investment Officer is currently studying Economics and Art History in Columbia College. Coming from Suzhou, China, she cares deeply about the children's education situation in China. In high school she has organized various fund-raising event that directly helped students from China’s remote areas to continue their education. She is very interested in media and hopes to use media as a tool to bring positive changes to the society. Her past media related experiences include serving as an anchor of a children's program and interning at the New York Times and CNNgo. Sissi has joined SWS in the fall of 2009. Besides SWS, she is also an active member of Columbia Debate Team and Columbia Global Recruiting Committee. In her free time, she enjoys meeting friends and frequenting museums.
Uchenna Ngwudo '13, co-Chief Development Officer is a sophomore majoring in Economics at Barnard College, Columbia University. Her Nigerian background bolstered her inquisitive nature and exposed her to various interests including law, finance, and activism. Uchenna’s professional background features internships in the educational, law, insurance and non-profit fields. However, this summer she will leverage her skills to work in the financial data services sector. Finally, she is also an avid supporter of educational reform in the United States and tutors children in math and English at local elementary schools.
Megan Maloney '13, co-Chief Development Officer is a sophomore in the College, hailing from Westchester, NY. She plans to major in economics with a music concentration. In addition to her role in Smart Woman Securities, she volunteers at the Toddler Learning Center where she works with young children, and is an active member of HAPA Multicultural Club. Megan plans to pursue a career in finance, specifically one that incorporates her love for business, media, and entertainment. Before she settles down, Megan hopes to travel to Spain and China. In the future, Megan plans to own a series of music/entertainment companies. Megan enjoys watching sports, spending time with friends and family, and playing piano.
Wenxin Yan '14, co-Chief Operating Officer is a rising sophomore at Columbia College, Columbia University who will possibly major in Economics-Mathematics. Born and raised in the spring city Kunming, China, she is the first student in her province to be admitted into Columbia University. Back in high school, she served as the president of the 10th grade Youth League and minister of outreach in the School’s Youth League. She
also founded the first Model United Nations club in her province and established the first MUN conference. Wenxin’s past experience includes working at an international agriculture company and a translating and tutoring company (New Oriental). In her spare time, Wenxin loves shopping, reading, eating and playing accordions and other traditional minority instruments such as Ba Wu, Hulusi and Xun. Passionate about finance, she is very excited to serve on the board of Smart Women Securities 2010-11 as Chief Operating Officer.

Cindy Fan, co-Chief Operating Officer ’12 is a junior majoring in Economics-Mathematics at Columbia University. She was born and raised in Jinhua, China and enjoys traveling, learning languages, and meeting new people. On campus, besides serving as Chief Operating Officer for SWS Columbia, Cindy serves as Secretary of the Society of International Undergraduates and Vice President of Chinese Student Scholars Association. Cindy’s past experience includes working at biotechnology company, management consulting and wealth management. In her spare time, she enjoys ballroom dancing, swimming, and skiing.
Zixi Jin (Sissi), co-Chief Operating Officer ’13 is currently a first year student at Columbia College, Columbia University who will possibly major in Economics and Political Science. Because of her family background, she became interested in law, business and consulting at a very young age. Meanwhile, having been a part-time radio speaker for a few years, she is very interested in media and hopes to use media as a tool to bring positive changes to the society. When she was in high school, she organized various fund-raising event that directly helped children from China’s remote areas to continue education. Currently, she is searching for a career path that could integrate her passion for business, media and social changes. She joined SWS in the fall of 2009. Besides SWS, she is also an active member of Columbia Debate Team. In her free time, she enjoys meeting people, reading, dancing, playing Hulusi, traveling, and language learning. She will study in Berlin this summer and hopes that one day she can travel around the world.
Do Yon Kwon, co-Chief Development Officer ’12 is a student at Columbia School of Engineering and Applied Science, majoring in Operations Research. She spent most of her life moving back and forth between Republic of Korea and the United States. She is very excited to serve on the board of Smart Women Securities 2010-11 as Chief Development Officer. On campus, she is also an active board member of Multicultural Business Association and CU Unicef. Do Yon hopes to pursue a career in which she can combine her interests in computer science with finance. She wants to travel a lot and hopes to work in Asia after she graduates. Last summer, she interned at Korea Bond Pricing & KR Co. as a Fund Valuation Team Intern. In her spare time, Do Yon loves watching foreign films and is an awesome girls’ flag-football player.

She has been working with the SWS team for two years; before becoming Chief Executive Officer, she served as Chief Research Officer and spearheaded investment projects. Baillie spent her childhood in Hong Kong and moved to Weston, Massachusetts in high school. At Columbia, she was involved with various organizations, including being a mentor for the Residential Engineering Initiative, a coordinator for Relay for Life in her freshman year, and working as an external finance liaison in Ivy Council. Baillie has always been a city girl and loves being in New York City. She enjoys visiting flea markets and art galleries in Brooklyn and the Lower East Side, and, if the weather permits, spending time in Central Park. She has explored various industries in the past summers as an intern at Polo Ralph Lauren, PricewaterhouseCooper, and private equity firm Global Emerging Markets. Baillie loved her internship with Global Emerging Markets last year and she looks forward to joining the Global Investment Research Division of Goldman Sachs this coming summer.

She is also in the Fashion Styling/Merchandizing Professional Certificate Program at the Fashion Institute of Technology. She wishes to pursue a career that she is passionate about in the fields of finance, international relations, and fashion and find a way to connect all the three aspects. She spent most of her life growing up in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and also a couple of years in between Canada, Togo, and China. Fascinated by the growth of the Asia-Pacific region, in September last year, she founded the first Global China Connection chapter at Columbia University. On campus, she is an active competitor in Ballroom Team and Ski Team and launching the first fashion-focused organization at Columbia University, CU Couture this year. With an interest in finance, she has been actively involved in Smart Woman Securities since freshman year as the Chief Marketing Officer this year and Chief Development Officer next year.

Sanaz Fazeli, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) '11 is majoring in Economics and French at Columbia University. Sanaz has spent her past two summers working in the financial services industry, interning at Citi Smith Barney after freshman year and at J.P. Morgan after sophomore year. She plans to intern this summer again at J.P. Morgan in the Sales and Trading division. In addition to being Chief Executive Officer of Smart Woman Securities, Sanaz is Vice President of the Multicultural Business Association on campus. She enjoys playing sports, watching French films and exploring NYC restaurants.
Fan Gao, co-Chief Development Officer (CDO) '11 is at Columbia, pursuing a major in Economics-Mathematics. She has worked for UBS in the Private Wealth Management division, as well as at Achelous Partners, a boutique investment bank in New York specializing in cross-border M&A. Fan joined Smart Woman Securities in its inaugural year at Columbia in the speaker series and acted as the Co-Chief Development Officer. She was also the President of Columbia University Chinese Students and Scholars Association. Fan spent her childhood years in various cities in China and her high school years in Singapore. In her spare time, Fan enjoys reading, spending time in the Central Park, and spending time with friends and family.
Hilary Krentzman, co-Chief Development Officer (CDO) is pursuing a major in History at Columbia, with a focus on 20th century British Empire. Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Hilary joined Smart Woman Securities in its inaugural year at Columbia in the speaker series and is the Co-Chief Development Officer. In her spare time, Hilary enjoys travel, yoga, and writing for her shared blog, "QuestionNYaire."
