Over 200 men and women from Harvard have attended our trips to meet Mr. Warren Buffett in Omaha, Nebraska. Co-sponsored by Smart Woman Securities and Harvard Undergraduate Women in Business (HUWIB), students visited Mr. Buffett in fall of 2006 and 2007. In addition to visiting Mr. Buffett and touring Berkshire Hathaway, students also had the opportunity to visit several companies in the Omaha area, including the Gallup Organization, Omaha Steaks, and Union Pacific.

 

The following outlines the itinerary of our 2006 trip to meet Mr. Buffett:

Harvard students have the chance to go to Gallup Corporation in downtown Omaha. We hear from Jane Miller, the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. We also hear from a StrengthsFinder expert that helps us figure out where our competencies are, and how to best utilize them!

After Gallup, we travel to Rick's Boatyard Cafe to have a Question and Answer session with Wally Weitz, another famed investor in Omaha!

Mr. Buffett makes a surprise appearance and talks with students in the crowd!

Harvard students dine with various political and business leaders across top Omaha companies!

We head back home on the buses to prepare for the next day with Mr. Buffett at Berkshire Hathaway!
