Warren Buffett Trip | Feedback from the Trip | Back
Over 200 men and women from Harvard have attended our trips to meet Mr. Warren Buffett in Omaha, Nebraska. Co-sponsored by Smart Woman Securities and Harvard Undergraduate Women in Business (HUWIB), students visited Mr. Buffett in fall of 2006 and 2007. In addition to visiting Mr. Buffett and touring Berkshire Hathaway, students also had the opportunity to visit several companies in the Omaha area, including the Gallup Organization, Omaha Steaks, and Union Pacific.
The following outlines the Friday itinerary of our 2006 trip to meet Mr. Buffett:
Friday, October 6, 2006
Harvard students arise early in the morning to meet with Bob Baat and tour Nebraska Furniture Mart, a Berkshire Hathaway Company.

Next we go to Berkshire Hathaway, where are privileged to hear Mr. Buffett answer questions in a two-hour Q&A session! After the Q&A, we are invited to Gorat's Steakhouse, where Mr. Buffett treats us to a steak lunch. Later, Mr. Buffett graciously offers to pose for pictures outside of Gorat's.

Our last stop is to Borsheim's jewelry store, a Berkshire Hathaway Company, where we meet with Erin Limas, Chief Financial Officer, who gives us an overview of the history of Borsheim's.

Reluctantly, we head back to Harvard... A HUGE thanks to Tiffany Niver and Tracy Britt, proud members of the SWS founding team, who singlehandedly organized this amazing trip!
