The Money Game
Strive and Succeed, the Horatio Alger Newsletter for National Scholars
By TRACY BRITT
Three years ago I met a truly amazing person who changed the way I thought about my future. Who was she? A famous actress? An accomplished politician? A celebrity featured in a magazine? Nope. She was a finance professional and her job was to manage other people’s money. What exactly did that mean? Well, over the next few hours, she walked me through her experiences, the industry, and more importantly the power of investing, and hopefully this article will provide you with a bit of insight on this amazing concept that continues to baffle so many people.
